I have wanted to start this blog for a while now, so here it finally goes. My hope is to post at least a few times a week for starters and hopefully get some good discussions going. As my screen and page name suggest I am chronically ill and finding the energy to actually blog is difficult, but going to give this a try.
About me... My name is Jeff Seleb. I am 45 and live with my husband in Chicago, where I grew up. I had a good career going for a number of years until about 4 years ago when my earlier neck injury began deteriorating significantly and a diagnosis of Lupus, Sjogren's and chronic fatigue. I am a chronic pain patient as well. Unfortunately that is not the full extent of my illness. All of this together and more has prevented me from working and not accomplishing a whole lot more.
So, what kind of blog will this be?
Besides a place to discuss chronic illness, I am a Geographer by education. So, anything to do with illness, Geography, travel and just about anything that can drum up a great discussion is great with me. So, I hope many of you do visit and contribute. I am pretty much an open book, so don't hesitate to ask me something or otherwise engage me in conversation.
